covet: kelly moore bag

the classic bag in fuscia by kelly moore

remember way back when i posted about desperately wanting a digital slr?  well, santa (aka g&p) was good to me this year and i am now the proud owner of a Nikon D3100!  Yay!  I am so excited to start snapping away - this is going to be a great starter camera for me!  I have been hunting around the internet for the perfect camera bag and have been thoroughly disappointed with the options... that is, until I discovered kelly moore.  finally a camera bag that doesn't look like a camera bag!  the kelly moore bags come in a great line up of colors (and we all know how I love hot pink), sizes and styles.  I especially liked the variety of photos on her website and the video demonstrations really helped give a better feel for the bag in real life.  I'm hooked!  The only question is, will it be the posey in pink or the b-hobo in gray... decisions, decisions!

we are back from our LA-Day and whew, what a saturday!  started with Mood LA, Hennessy Ingalls, and space15twenty.  Got some fuel from Umami Burger (yum!) and headed to Unique LA.  We picked up a print from the poster list and split a free sample (by sample i mean 8oz.) of 80 proof root beer.  a big thanks to B for planning such a super fun day!

BIG seems to be the "it" firm of 2010.  Their new K-12 school certainly shows us why.
