i have started reworking my resume and portfolio... of course i am getting caught up in tinkering with all the details, spacing, alignment, color, etc.  my mind has been catapulted into thinking what kind of design would translate well from resume to portfolio to business card to stationary and beyond!  browsed through some super inventive business card designs at cardonizer.  maps, photographs, letterpress, round, square, green, lots and lots of creative ideas!  even a nail salon that prints their business cards on nail files = smart and useful!  and of course the moleskin version is particularly close to my heart :-)

i heart succulents.  they have been quite trendy as of late (even in weddings: bouquets, centerpieces and favors) but my crush has been going for years now.  going to start saving my peanut and coffee cans to plant a fun grouping on the porch.  hoping b will warm up to these cute little darlings once his bamboo kick is over...

the first rain of the season has me dreaming about cute new rain boots.  in case you didn't know, galoshes are the new black.  there are tons of designs out there (literally, tons, check target if you don't believe me)...how will i ever choose?  might just have to paint my own....

as many of you know, i am currently obsessed with the magic of mid-century designers ray & charles eames.  just discovered these pillows by inhabit.  great silhouettes, cool colors, also love that the name of the pillow is the year the chair was released.  hey, if i can't have an eames lounge chair, i figure having pillow of one sitting on my couch is the next best option.

its official.  my current flower fancy is the mum.  i particularly love the cute little bright green ones.  fluffy and a splash of bold color - whats not to love?  especially when paired with hot pink (what a surprise) gerberas.  makes ya wanna smile, huh?  :-)
