i recently caught wind of the fab lab in san diego.  MIT & Heads on Fire collaborated in 2007 to create an advanced digital design and fabrication studio.  A creative outlet for students and the community, the Fab Lab gives people the tools to create..well, 'almost anything'!  i love the whole idea behind this - are they hiring?

i do not use terms like "omg" very often ... but OMG!  i want this studio (with a different wall treatment)!  binder clip display wall, fun assortment of storage boxes on the wall, and oooo all that horizontal surface to work on!  k:creates would happily take up shop there tomorrow!
